Set your Sights On Your Strengths

We can improve ourselves in two ways: enhancing our strengths and improving on our weakness. Which do you think is the better use of your time? Answer: focus on your strengths. Many people instinctively work on their shortcomings, concentrating on what they believe is holding them back. If this is where you focus, you risk losing confidence and gaining frustration. You’re much better off managing your weakness and putting most of your energy into your talents. To be successful, you don’t need to be good at all things. You just have to be great at one. If Michael Jordan spent his life focusing on improving his baseball skills, he may never have developed into the basketball legend he has become. Avoid putting unnecessary pressure on yourself. Don’t ignore areas where you need to improve, but spend most of your energy working on the things where you have potential to be great.
